The iconic Kaminarimon Gate, or Thunder Gate of Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa was folded for Sanja Matsuri, Sanja Festival on last weekends.
It is rare to see to be folded. Only when the festival or very bad storm, it is folded. In the festival, Mikoshi, portable shrines go under the big folded lantern.
