I had the pleasure of exploring Tokyo with Kaori as my tour guide and her professional photographer husband Ichiro and to highly recommend Kaori would be an understatement.  From the very beginning, Kaori made the experience feel personal and memorable. Her deep knowledge of Tokyo's history, culture, and hidden gems made the tour truly special.

She took the time to listen to our interests ( 2 friends and I ) and tailored the tour to our preferences. We visited an out of the way special Buddhist Cat Shrine which was such a lovely surprise as Kaori & Ichiro knew I'm passionate about cats. We also went to the Open Air Architecture museum and my favourite incense shop in Ginza (Shoyeido Incense Co.) Among other places, a delightful restaurant near where we were staying and Kaori had organized a private room where we could eat & chat without hub bub.

Whether we were strolling through bustling neighborhoods like Shibuya or visiting serene temples in Asakusa, Kaori’s insights made each stop come alive. She was not only informative but also very engaging, sharing stories that added so much depth to our visit. We even had a picnic in a lovely park viewing the Plum Blossoms as the Cherry Blossoms were blooming a bit later after our stay in Japan.

We were so impressed we did another day tour to Mt.Fuiji in their very comfortable 7 seater van with Ichiro driving, we felt extremely safe and enjoyed chatting whilst viewing the scenery. Visited the Ice Cave, an old relocated village made of shops and gorgeous architecture. We had lunch at a local restaurant whereby we sampled the local delicacies, which was amazing. Of course Ichiro took lots of beautiful photos of us at Mt.Fuiji which we will treasure always.

Kaori's English is excellent, and she is incredibly friendly and approachable. She made sure we were comfortable throughout the time we spent together, from helping with transportation to offering great restaurant recommendations.
