T-001 : Tokyo Highlights for first timers
If you have only one day for Tokyo, this tour is for you, covering the major highlights of Tokyo you can do in a limited time, with a good mixture of tradition and modern.
Yet, if you have more than 2 days for Tokyo, I recommend to take Western highlights and Eastern highlights separately, as there is much of Tokyo you can’t miss and it takes time (30-40mins) to go from East to West even in central Tokyo.

Highlights
(1) Imperial Palace
A former Edo Castle has been turned into Imperial Palace grounds near Tokyo Station. Its huge compound consists of East Gardens of Imperial Palace, Outer garden of Imperial Palace with Nijubashi bridge and off-the-limit area including Imperial Palace.
＊Noted: Palace building itself cannot be seen by private, since it's in the restricted area. Only official guided tour can take you to the palace building (only from outside) twice a day.
(1-a) East Gardens of Imperial Palace
Walk through East Gardens of Imperial Palace which is open to public except Mondays and Fridays. It boasts seasonal beauty throughout the year and some remnants from the Edo period.
(1-b) Nijubashi bridge
When East Garden is closed, we’ll visit Nijubashi Double Bridge of Imperial Palace to shoot a memorial photo with Fushimi Yagura (turret) in the background.
(2) Asakusa
One of top must-see spots in Tokyo. A huge red lantern makes the way to Senso-ji Temple, one of the oldest, biggest temples in Tokyo.
(2-a) Nakamise street
About 90 small shops on both sides to the main hall of Senso-ji temple, where you can enjoy shopping Japanese items and street food.
(3) Tsukiji Market
Tsukiji Outer Market is busy with foodies trying fresh seafood, even after Inner Market has moved to Toyosu.
Sushi lunch
Lunch can be arranged according to your preference. I can take you to traditional sushi restaurant if you’re OK with raw fish. If not, I can arrange casual ones with more choices.
(4) Meiji-jingu Shrine
One of the most important shrines in Japan, where you can escape the busy streets of Tokyo, sense the shrine’s sacred atmosphere surrounded by 100 year forest.
(5) Shibuya
Be part of the world busiest Shibuya Scramble Crossing. Take a picture with Hachi dog statue, honoring the most loyal dog in Japan. Experience Japanese people’s food life at Tokyu Food Show, called Depa-chika.

(Option) Shinjuku
Japan’s No.1 night life district, know as sleepless town. You can see other side of Japan’s face. Good to take impressive photos with neons.
(Option) Akihabara
With extra hours, I can take you to Akihabara, electric town, a center of sub-culture. Anime, Manga comics, games are all here.
(Option) Local dinner
Local dinner experience is available with extended hours. Why don’t we grab a drink at local Izakaya? Or enjoy excellent Wagyu beef, authentic Japanese Kaiseki course meal or such? Feel ask me any arrangement.

・This tour is basically a walking tour, using public transportation such as subways and trains. Please join with comfortable walking shoes.
・We can go for taxis upon your request at your expense, anytime if you wish.
・If someone in your group needs special care for long walking and stairs, let me know in advance.
・Please bring some cash in Japanese yen, since credit card is not accepted for vending machines and small shops/restaurants in Japan.
